What to Have Ready Before You Reach Out
A few details help us quote accurately and faster. None of them are required to call, but each one shortens the conversation.
- Rough square footage of each room, or a floor plan if you have one
- Photos of the current floor, including damage, transitions and any stairs
- The floor you have in mind, or a look you like, so we bring the right samples
- Your AOAO or HOA flooring rules if you live in a condo, including any minimum sound rating; our condo flooring service explains why they matter
- Your timeline, especially if you are working around guests, a sale or a move-in date
- Whether we need to move furniture or pull up the old floor, so floor removal and disposal is priced in from the start
After you reach out, we confirm the details and book a measure at a time that suits you. The written quote that follows lists material, prep, installation and trim separately, with Hawaii general excise tax shown.
If your material has to ship from the mainland, expect about 4 to 6 weeks before install day. Calling early gives you the most choice of colors and dates.
